Client & Contractor Portals
If you have access to the Internet, you have access to Ostara, so can manage your estate irrespective of where you are in the world. The Client and Contractor portals extend your reach and control – ultimately, this could reduce the size of helpdesk required.
These portals allow users to access the Ostara CAFM system via a secure website, without the need to download the application. Both portals are encrypted to 128-bit encryption.
Contractor Portal
The contractor portal is also used for the completion of Pre-qualification questionnaires, and uploading compliance certificates, which has drastically reduced the amount of paper which would normally be involved in this process. It provides:
- The ability to see live work orders.
- ETA updates.
- Adding notes to work orders.
- Upload of certification.
Client Portal
The client portal is also used for reviewing any completed work orders from the last 30 days, and providing feedback on these. It provides:
- The ability to see both live and completed work orders.
- Feedback ability.
- The ability to view compliance certification.
Both the ability to view information and the ability to carry out actions within the system are controlled through profiles and corresponding permissions. This gives clients the ability to control their system, and prevent changes from being made by users without the relevant authority. Both these portals’ functionality is continuously evolving.
